Break Up

Jimmy is married to the cruel Frank, but she is saving up to leave. She had been deaf for a year as a result of one of his beatings. He pushes her down the stairway one night, and she ends up in the hospital. When the cops discover her husband's burnt body in a pond, they want to speak with her, but she flees to her sister's, loses her savings pass-book, and then discovers her bank account has been emptied. She flees, with the same cops after her, and soon finds Frank is not dead. Recovering her money, confronting Frank, appeasing the police, and regaining her freedom may prove to be more than she can bear. Authored by
