Break Up
Jimmy is married to the cruel Frank, but she is saving up to leave. She had been deaf for a year as a result of one of his beatings. He pushes her down the stairway one night, and she ends up in the hospital. When the cops discover her husband's burnt body in a pond, they want to speak with her, but she flees to her sister's, loses her savings pass-book, and then discovers her bank account has been emptied. She flees, with the same cops after her, and soon finds Frank is not dead.
