Total Wipeout

Total Wipeout is actually a British game show that aired on 3 January 2009. 20 contestants compete to win # 10,000 Weekly. These struggles are based in huge pools of water or mud and generally involve large attack courses that participants must cross. Total Wipeout is a licensed version of Wipeout, the reveal that started in the USA with the name marginally altered to prevent confusion , in 2008. On 29 March 2012, BBC confirmed that they are to axe Wipeout. The Daily Mirror reported that a BBC spokesperson said:"Following four very successful series of overall Wipeout, also one series of cold temperatures Wipeout, the BBC has taken the decision that the next series, due to transmit later this calendar year, is going to be the last" The residual 10 episodes from Series 5 also ended the show's 4-year operate before 2013 on BBC One and started broadcasting on 18 August 2012.
