The Octonauts

The Octonauts can be just a British children's television series. Brown Bag Movies animate in Ireland the series however uses British voice actors. It series is based on American Canadian kids's books written by Vicki Wong and Michael C. Murphy of all Meomi Design Inc.. The Octonauts follows an exploring team made up of stylized creatures, a team of eight adventurers that reside within an under sea base, the Octopod, by where they go with the support of a fleet of aquatic vehicles. The topic matter is reminiscent of Thunderbirds blended and StarTrek with Jacques Cousteau. Although it's science fiction as regards its own technology, the critters and areas the team encounter are real sea creatures within their natural habitats.
