The Future Diary

Yukiteru Amano (Yuki) is a recluse who prefers to write a diary on his cell phone with his only companion being an imagined buddy named Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space. However, Yuki quickly discovers that Deus is not a fabrication of his imagination when Deus forces him to compete in a battle royale with eleven other people. The competitors in this "Diary Game" are given special diaries that may foresee the future, with each diary having unique properties that provide them with both advantages and disadvantages.
