Servant of the People

An otherwise quiet and unassuming teacher named Vasily is shown on tape venting his frustration about the deplorable conditions in his nation. When a student uploads the video to YouTube, it quickly becomes a phenomenon all across the internet. Everyone admires Vasily's righteous indignation, and people immediately begin collecting funds for a presidential campaign. That he is successful in! Vasily's new life as president is chronicled in the documentary Servant of the People. Vasily has no desire to alter his lifestyle and intends to continue living in the same apartment as his parents, borrowing money from his friends at the end of the month, and commuting to work on his bicycle. The only difference is that now Vasily serves as the most powerful man in the nation.
