New Worlds is just a gripping 4 part mini series dealing with love, loss and the human price paid for its freedoms and liberties we enjoy. We follow the fortunes of four people - Beth, Hope, Abe and Ned - from across either side of the Atlantic, swept up in such times. We see them fight as they're torn between love and ideals in the harsh reality of the universe that is shifting. In Englandthe monarchy of Charles II has betrayed its promises and reverted to tyranny. Behind the decadence of the Court, there is a horror system repressing the freedoms won during the Civil War of England for its people with blood when Charles I was executed. In the us the tentacles of state dread reach on the colonists of New England who're trying to throw off the shackles of their British Crown. At Precisely the Same period the colonists are staking their claim to the territories occupied by the Native American Indians, also dropping much of the American Indian's bloodstream from the process - in a chilling echo of their tyrannical behavior that they sought to escape from when they crossed the Atlantic
