My Life as a Teenage Robot

Rob Renzetti created My Life as a Teenage Robot for Nickelodeon. It was the first animated science fiction fairy tale to show on Nickelodeon. The series follows the exploits of XJ-9, also known as Jenny Wakeman, a robot girl created to safeguard Earth who is excessively addicted to teen-related activities, which are usually constantly interrupted by Nora Wakeman, her creator and mother. On August1,2003, Nickelodeon aired the first episode. Following the cancellation of the series, later episodes began appearing on Nicktoons Network as "never before seen episodes." The series is distributed outside of the United States by the Canadian animation studio Nelvana Limited. The first season is available on iTunes. All three seasons are available on DVD through Amazon, though it is unknown if Shout! Factory will release them elsewhere.
