Laverne & Shirley

Laverne & Shirley is an American TV sitcom that ran on ABC from January 27, 1976, to May 10, 1983. It starred Penny Marshall as Laverne De Fazio and Cindy Williams as Shirley Feeney, two single roommates who worked as bottlecappers at a made-up Milwaukee brewery called "Shotz Brewery." The two main characters were introduced on Happy Days as friends of Fonzie, so the show was a spin-off of that show. Set in about the same time period, the timeline went from about1958, when the series started, to1967, when it ended. Like Happy Days, it was made by Paramount Television and created by Garry Marshall. Garry Marshall, Edward K. Milkis, and Thomas L. Miller were the executive producers.
