Laid-Back Camp

Rin Shima's favourite way to spend her days off is camping alone at the base of Mount Fuji, although for most girls her age, a luxurious vacation with their families would be the ultimate getaway. She has always done everything by herself, from setting up her tent to gathering firewood, and she has no plans to leave her tiny world of solitude. When the lost Nadeshiko Kagamihara is forced to take refuge at Rin's campground, what begins as one of Rin's normal camping excursions turns into an unexpected two-person get-together. Nadeshiko's preparations are derailed when she falls asleep en route to her destination, preventing her from witnessing the breathtaking scenery of Mount Fuji for herself. Alone and without other options, she seeks assistance from the only other nearby individual. Despite their quick introductions, the two girls enjoy the cold night together by eating ramen and speaking over a campfire. Even after Nadeshiko's sister eventually takes her up later that evening, both girls contemplate in silence the potential of another camping trip together.
