Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth

Set during the Silla dynasty, Sam Maekjong may be the boy of the fallen king and queen regent but he was kept in hiding for protection ever since he was a boy, when his dad has been murdered. Through the years the effective nobles have tried and failed to usurp power causing her to cultivate wary and loath to hand the throne over. Since her son comes naturally, she's the Hwarang, at the very top number of youth who instruct in education and fighting. Their existence cuts round the power factions and also Sam Maekjong is amidst their rankings under the fictitious name Kim Ji-Dwi, unbeknownst to Hwarang members.
