Gilligan's Island
Gilligan's Isle is an American sitcom produced and created by Sherwood Schwartz and produced by United Artists Television. Bob Denver was featured by the situation comedy series. Alan Hale, Jr.. Jim Backus. Natalie Schafer. Tina Louise. Russell Johnson. and Dawn Wells. It aired from September 26, 1964. As they attempted to survive the island on which they were shipwrecked sponsored by Philip Morris & Company and Procter & Gamble, the series followed the adventures of seven castaways. Most episodes revolve round the' conflicts and their failed efforts to escape their plight.
Gilligan's Island conducted to get a total of 98 episodes. The first season was filmed in black. These episodes were colorized for syndication. The show's second and third seasons and the 3 television picture sequels were filmed in color.
The series enjoyed solid ratings during its first run, then climbed through the years of syndication in the late 1970s and 1980s when the series conducted in the late day. Today, Gilligan's name character is widely known as an American icon.
