Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Edward and Alphonse Elric broke some of the most basic rules of alchemy, which tore off half of Ed's limbs and stuck Al's soul to a cold suit of armor. To get back what was lost, the brothers search a war-torn country for the Philosopher's Stone, a legendary artifact that lets people do alchemy in impossible ways. The Elrics are not the only ones looking for the artifact. The corrupt State Military is also eager to use its power. So are the weird Homunculi and their unknown maker. The mythical gem draws in strange alchemists from faraway kingdoms, leaving some of them so badly scarred that they are driven to kill. Even though these enemies and allies are changing the Elrics' path, their goal hasn't changed, and neither has their bond.
