Family Law

Family Law can be really just a television play starring Kathleen Quinlan as divorced lawyer Lynn Holt, who attempted to start her own attorney after her husband abandoned her and their law clinic, taking all their customers together with him. The series aired in 1999 to 2002 on CBS and has been created by Paul Haggis. The show also starred Christopher McDonald as opportunistic, ambulance-chasing attorney Rex Weller, Julie Warner as Lynn's friend Danni, and Dixie Carter as"pitbull" divorce attorney Randi King. Cast additions included little person actress Meredith Eaton, Cristián de la Fuente, Salli Richardson and Tony Danza an ambitious attorney expecting to make partner, as Emily Resnick. Edwin Starr's 1970 hit song,"War" was used since the series' opening title motif.
