Dharma & Greg

Dharma & Greg is an American sitcom that aired from September24,1997, to April30, 2002. Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson featured as Dharma and Greg Montgomery, a couple who married on their first date despite being diametrically opposed in all they believed in. With the help of Chuck Lorre Productions, More-Medavoy Productions, and 4 to 6 Foot Productions for ABC, the series is co-produced by the network. Dennis C. Brown composed and sang the theme song for the show. Executive producers Dottie Dartland and Chuck Lorre drew inspiration for the comedy from real-life examples of "fish out of water" situations caused by cultural differences. The show got eight Golden Globe nominations, six Emmy Award nominations, and six Satellite Award nominations. A Golden Globe for Best Actress was given to Elfman in the year 1999.
