Candy Candy

Candy Chocolate is actually a Japanese novel, manga, and anime collection. The major personality, Candice"Candy" White Ardlay can be actually a blonde girl with freckles, large emerald green eyes and long, curled hair, dressed in pigtails with bows. Candy Candy first appeared at a prose novel. When Mizuki joined forces with manga artist Yumiko Igarashi, the Japanese magazine Nakayoshi became curious in Candy Candy. The show had been serialized as a manga series in the journal for four decades and won the 1st Kodansha Manga Award for sh?jo at 1977. The story was adapted into an anime series by Toei Animation. There are several Candy Chocolate films that were never released outside of Japan.
