Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog: Adventures is an American animated series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game property by Sega. The initial airing occurred in September 1993. It follows the adventures of the eponymous character Sonic the Hedgehog and his sidekick Tails as they seek to stop Dr. Robotnik and his army of robots from taking over the planet Mobius. Another Sonic series, just titled Sonic the Hedgehog, was simultaneously shown. Sonic was presented as competent and intelligent in Adventures, but Robotnik, Scratch, and Grounder were clumsy in the other series.
