A Certain Magical Index

Kamijo is a student in Academy City, a place where science is used to produce supernatural talents. The guy has a lot of compassion, which is fortunate for Index, a young nun. She's on the run from a sorcery society that wants the incredible 103,000 volumes of magical information she possesses. When Index enters Kamijo's life, she discovers a loyal friend and protector, and while Kamijo is undoubtedly the weakest youngster in Academy City, he has something else going for him: the Imagine Breaker, an incomprehensible power hidden in his right hand that cancels the powers of others. With scientists and sorcerers attacking from all sides, the Imagine Breaker will undoubtedly be useful –but Kamijo's devotion to Index will be his most powerful weapon in the fight to keep her safe.
