Trapped: The Alex Cooper Story

Based on a gruesome true story, after 15-year-old Alex revealed she had been homosexual to her devout Mormon parents, they feared so deeply for her soul that they took her away from the Southern California home and laid her against her will in a transformation treatment house in Utah. Alex faced beatings along with horrible punishments that were intended to treat her homosexuality. After realizing that she would have to submit with their own rules as a way to survive, Alex was allowed to go to school, where she became friends with a boy friend that has been the president of the alliance. He helped Alex be in contact with an lawyer, who helped orchestrate her own getaway.
