The Wanderers

The story follows the ups and downs of the fortunes of three ronin living in feudal Japan. These ronin go from castle to castle, offering their services to whichever lord will pay them enough to keep their rice bowls full. Even though they enter through the door for the servants, they cannot shake the feeling that they are constrained by the Bushido code of the samurai, and this tension ultimately leads to catastrophe.
