The Pilot. A Battle for Survival

December of 1941, Northwestern Front. A German container column is relocating in the direction of Moscow. Throughout an objective to stop the adversary development, Nikolai Komlev's IL-2 is obliterated. Komlev handles to crash-land his plane in a remote forest clearing up. He's alive, yet much from pleasant region. Ahead of him is an unrelenting trial of extreme physical and mental endurance. After battling appetite and also extreme cold, averting packs of wolves as well as detachments of Nazi soldiers, the injured Komlev ultimately makes it back to safety and security. Yet there he encounters another difficulty, one of the most life-changing of them all.
