The Other Tom

Elena is a single parent who needs help from Social Services. People at school call her son Tom a "problem child" because of his bad behavior. Their already tough relationship is made worse by the fact that their father isn't there. Tom is given psychiatric medicine after being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. However, a strange accident lets his mother know about the side effects of the medicine. If she doesn't keep giving him the drugs, Social Services threatens to take Tom away from her.
