The Lost Bladesman

Throughout the 3 kingdoms' period , ancient China is in turmoil. To unify the country, general Cao Cao (Jiang Wen), the true power behind the Emperor, together with aid from the greatest warrior in the land, Guan Yu (Donnie Yen). However, Guan Yu can be a loyal friend of Cao Cao's enemy Liu Bei (Alex Fong) therefore to convince the peerless warrior to fight, Cao Cao chooses his cherished Qi Lan (Sun Li) hostage. After major Cao Cao's forces Guan Yu sets out together with Qi Lan to rejoin Liu Bei. But Cao Cao has deemed him too great a threat to call home, and at the command sent to kill him of the Emperor he must face the forces on the journey.
