The Invisible Guardian

When the body of a teenage girl is found on the banks of the River Baztán, then it's soon associated with the same murder one month before. Rumours are flying from Elizondo's village. Is this work of a killer or is it that the basajaun, the'guardian' of Basque mythology? Inspector Amaia Salazar leads the research, taking her back into the core of the country where she was born, and where she expected never to reunite. Surrounded by woods and shrouded in mist, it's a secret in Amaia's youth which may keep coming back to haunt her and a place of unresolved conflicts. Up against the superstitions of this village, Amaia needs to fight the demons of her past to confront the reality of a serial killer on the loose. But since she is drawn deeper into the analysis, she feels that the presence of something darker lurking in the shadows...
