The Golden Voices

Terrell Christian College (TCC) will host the "Golden Voices Competition" this year, but there is one problem: TCC does not have a choir. To keep her job as head of the music department, Georgia Mae Jackson (Irma P. Hall) has been challenged by the Assistant Dean, Vickie Wilson (Tonea Stewart), to put together a choir in one month or risk losing her position. In order to cover for Georgia's aching back, she connives with her granddaughter, Sidney Nicole Taylor (Nikki Dixon), into taking over the choir. A fallen, bad boy R&B singer, Jax Rebel (Mario Mims), is hired by Sidney to assist her with the choir, and it flips the college upside down. Following the discovery of Jax's tangled background, Dean Wilson threatens to fire Georgia if they do not win the contest. Will Georgia's job be saved by Sidney and Jax?
