The Dresser

One night in a tiny regional theater during World War II a troupe of touring performers stage a production of Shakespeares King Lear. Bombs are decreasing, sirens are wailing, the drape is up within an hour but the actor/manager Sir whois playing Lear is to be viewed. His dresser Norman has to fight to hold the production alive however will Sir generate in time of course, if he does will he be able to carry out that evening? The Dresser is a profoundly moving and funny story of loyalty and friendship as Sir attempts to reconcile his turbulent friendships before the closing curtain with people in his usage and reflects his lifelong accomplishments.
