The Decline of the American Empire

4 very different Montreal university instructors gather at a rambling country house to prepare a supper. Remy (married), Claude (a homosexual), Pierre (involved with a girlfriend) and Alain (a bachelor) review sex, the female body and their affairs with them. At the same time, their 4 women guests, Louise (Remy's spouse of 15 years), Dominique (a spinster), Diane (a divorcée) and Danielle (Pierre's sweetheart) are spending the moment at a downtown health fitness center. They likewise discuss sex, the women body and, naturally, guys. Later on in the evening, they ultimately meet at the country house and have dinner. A ninth visitor, called Mario, who used to understand Diane, drops in on the group for some talk and also has a shock of his own.
