The Child of Another

The love that Ngando and Ndomé have for one another is unimaginably exquisite. However, tradition dictates that Ngando, who is an orphan, must pay a dowry in order to win Ndomé's hand in marriage. Ngando is unable to do so. Ngando is put in a position where he has no choice but to rely on the avarice and gluttony of his uncle because he is forced to ask for assistance from his uncle. How can Ngando and Ndomé come to an agreement that will allow them to live in peace?
