The Big Knife

When movie star Charlie Castle refuses to sign a new seven-year contract, he enrages Hollywood producer Stanley Hoff. Castle is fed up with the studio's low-quality films and wishes to start a new life. Castle's talent agent begs him to reconsider his decision, despite the fact that his estranged wife supports him. Hoff resorts to blackmail when Castle refuses to cooperate.
