The Assault

Saturday 24th. Four GIA terrorists hijack an Air France A300 Airbus at the Algiers airport. The Airbus, bound for Paris, has 227 passengers on board. Nobody knows exactly what the terrorists' intentions are they are armed and extremely determined. They demand the liberation of these"brothers in arms" and desire the aircraft to remove at the same time. After intense and lengthy discussions involving the Algerian and French governments, the plane is now allowed to leave. There are three main characters at the heart of the activity: a member of the GIGN,'' Carole Jeanton, an ambitious technocrat willing to do anything needed to realize personal gain from those events, also Yahia Abdallah, a determined jihadist who was raised in the slums of Algiers and continues to be exploited through an vague GIA envoy, Ali Touchent.
