Symphony on Skis

An adventurous ski tour of 2 siblings, that adhere to the tracks of their father, throughout the beautiful landscape of New Zealand. Three decades back, Gottlieb Braun-Elwert set out on an un-chartered expedition. He dominated the major glaciers of the Southern Alps as well as crossed 40km and also 4000 upright meters, from the heart of the South Island to the Pacific in simply 18 hours. A course of amazing elegance, tremendous freedom, impressive panoramas as well as the threat of the uncontainable nature. He called this route "Harmony on Skis". Now, his little girls Carla, Elke as well as a little group of travelers embark on the same experience. This movie is a homage to their late father who found a love and also home in New Zealand's Southern Alps.
