Back in Montreal, the jobless fashion-designer Sophie Malaterre has been shown a website, switch.com, where it's likely to modify houses using a stranger to holiday season. Sophie seeks an apartment at Paris nearby the Eiffel Tower that belongs to Bénédicte Serteaux and so they change apartments. Sophie arrives at Paris on Saturday. The next morning, policemen breakin the apartment and arrest Sophie while she's having a tub. Detective Damien Forgeat interrogates Sophie considering she actually is Bénédicte and she or he discovers the beheaded body was found inside her room and all evidence of her own life has been deleted.
