Mungo Morrison is a young mole who is born to begin work in the side within their hometown's legendary goldmine of his father. While his friends are excited to take the mine, Mungo dreams to become a pro footballer. However, struggling to play football in light and desperate not to upset his dad, in addition to being a mole that is small, Mungo sadly resigns himself. After the mine is made to shut down after a mysterious accident, an evil and gold-obsessed supervillain known as'The Boss', tries to frighten the townsfolk to selling him .
