Fatherless barrio Puerto Rican Rico can be actually a car mechanic by day, but lives for its nighttime, when he dates and succeeds alluring dancing girlsconvinced that the name of Salsa king in nightclub La Luna contest is always to be his. He encourages courteous gentleman Ken, his very best friend , to date his sister Margarita so he receives a freehand with her classmate Lola. The salsa queen Luna's fascination with Rico as dance-partner threatens his on-off association with Vicki. When Ken and Margarita fall into true love trouble follows.
