West Point grad lieutenant Jeff Knight meets with cynicism when shooting command of sergeant Michael McNamara's tour pros platoon in a trench camp. Unlike his predecessor, who dared until the end of his tour, Jeff adventures the manual doesn't allow coping-with all realities takes charge and gets injured.
