Oedipus Rex

In Italy, a couple have a baby boy. The dad, however, is covetous of his child - where the child is taken to become murdered, and the spectacle goes to antiquity. He's rescued, given the name Edipo (Oedipus), and brought up by the King and Queen of Corinth because of their kid. That an oracle informs Edipo he is destined to kill his father and wed his mother, 1 day. Horrified, he flees Corinth and his supposed parents only to enter a fight and kill a older man on the road...
