Ninth Happiness
People sing and work at Choi Hung Village, which is full with innocents. Chi Wan, the town's most attractive woman, falls in love with a stranger she meets in the woods and thinks he's a fairy. He pursues her while hiding his identity and asks her sister, Heung, for assistance. Heung proposes that he buy Chi Wan a fan. Misplaced jealousies arise as a result of Chi Wan and Heung's boyfriend, Dup, believing that the stranger and Heung are having a love relationship. Two brothers, the new town official and his obnoxious enforcer, are also newcomers. Unable to believe there isn't any bribery or corruption to make money off of, they attempt to open a whorehouse. Also being pursued is Chi Wan. Is everything solvable? Will justice ultimately win? What about this stranger?
