Mistress

A comedy about a screenwriter (Wuhl) who has an old film script read by a producer (Landau) and the subsequent search for financial backing. However, it appears as though each financier (Aiello, DeNiro, and Wallach) has his own mistress that he wishes to see in the picture. Gradually, the screenwriter is obliged to alter his work to please these funders, until there is little trace of his original ideas remaining in the writing.
