Meteor

After a collision with a comet, a nearly 8km wide piece of the asteroid"Orpheus" is going towards Earth. It will lead to a catastrophe which will probably extinguish 15, if it will hit. To stop the meteor NASA wants to use the illegal nuclear weapon satellite"Hercules" but discovers soon it doesn't always have enough firepower. Their only chance is to join forces with all the USSR who have also launched this kind of illegal satellite. However, will governments agree?
