Machuca

Santiago, capital of Chile during the government of president Salvador Allende that is controversial that is elected. Father McEnroe affirms his leftist viewpoints by introducing a schedule at the esteemed"collegio" (Catholic prep school) St. Patrick to allow free entry of some proletarian children. One is slum-raised son of the cleaning lady in Gonzalo Infante's liberal-bourgeois home, Pedro Machuca. Yet the classmates turned into friends, paradoxically protesting as Gonzalo gets embraced by gang and Pedro's slum family. However, the adults stink that not at least when general Pinochet's coup ousts Allende, also fans like McEnroe.
