Lost Souls

Untold numbers of Catholics, led by a sick priest, believe that Satan has aspirations to take on the form of a human being, just as God did in the person of Jesus. It is through the writings of a possessed mental patient that they come into contact with Peter Kelson, a writer who specializes in serial murders. He's said to be the one whose body Satan will take up residence. Maya Larkin, the youngest member of the group and a teacher, travels to Peter to investigate further and persuade him to believe in the existence of Evil incarnate. Other signals appear to him as he and Maya embark on a trip that is filled with unusual occurrences, self-discovery, and a final showdown in the desert.
