Jan Dara: The Beginning

Dependent on a Thai novel, the film tells the story of Jan, a boy who grows up in a house lorded over with his debauched dad. Place from the 1930?therefore the narrative recounts the growing pains of Jan, whose mother dies while giving birth and who's intensely hated by his dad. Jan grows up with Aunt Wad, his stepmother, and he struggles to reconcile his sexual own guilt and unhappiness together with unique ladies in his life, for example a woman called Hyacinth, whom he loves, and later Madame Boonleung, his dad's lover who becomes a key to Jan's sensual awakening.
