I Hired a Contract Killer

After fifteen years' service, Henri Boulanger is made redundant. Shocked, he tries suicide, but can not go through with this, so he hires a contract killer in a pub to murder him. But almost instantly he meets and falls in love with Margaret, a flower-seller, which makes Henri realise his life has some meaning after all. However, when he goes straight back into the pub to cancel the contract, he discovers it's been forged - and there isn't any way he can get in touch with the killer...
