House of Usher

After a long journey, Philip arrives at the Usher mansion looking his loved one, Madeline. Upon arriving, but he finds that Madeline and her brother Roderick Usher are affected with a mysterious malady: Roderick's senses have become painfully severe, while Madeline has become catatonic. Roderick tells his guest about an old Usher family curse: any time there has been a lot more than one Usher child that day, all the siblings have gone insane and died horrible deaths. While the days wear on the effects of the curse hit their climax that is frightening.
