Hamlet in the Golden Vale

A business of actors get to a castle deep in the countryside and set in to motion the story of Shakespeare's Hamlet. The lives of these actors and their characters intertwine as Prince Hamlet confronts the ghost of the father and seeks revenge over the Claudius, his uncle and appointed king. Everyone's lives scorche and lays bare the contradictions and ambiguities of human existence. At the play's end, a week have passed and the actors emerge, leaving characters and the castle supporting.
