Gunfight in Abilene

Fighting in the Civil War a man accidently eliminates his close friend. Returning to Abilene after the battle he discovers his former sweetheart about to marry the bro of the man he eliminated. To pay his financial debt he not just refuses to win her back yet takes the task of Sheriff, a job he does not desire, when the brother asks him. Still haunted by the killing he rejects to lug a gun. However there is trouble between the herdsmans and also the farmers and when he discovers the sibling killed he straps on a weapon and heads after the awesome.
