Possessing a new-age mother along with an estranged dad means 15-year-old Ellis Whitman has grown up depending in a non-traditional guardian: a goat-trekking,'' marijuana-growing sage named Goat Man. So when Ellis decides to leave the desert homestead for a Coast prep school's ways, major changes are waiting for you. But perhaps maybe not in the way you'd think. Though usually stoned, the capable and smart Ellis effortlessly aces faculty and excels. It has his connections with all the adults in his life which examine him , challenging his beliefs as the season advances.
