Dulcima

Despite the fact that his farm is in disarray, John Mills portrays a farmer who enjoys a drink. He meets a young girl named Dulcima, who takes pity on him and agrees to work for him as his housekeeper. While he is delighted to have some company, she is motivated by the need to generate income. However, things become more problematic when she begins to have sexual relations with the gamekeeper. As a result of this discovery, she eventually decides that she wants to be with the farmer after all. However, she can't seem to stop seeing the gamekeeper, and the farmer discovers this as a result.
