CHOIR GIRL is a gritty drama about Eugene, a lonely photographer who develops an obsession with Josephine, an underage prostitute in his dilapidated neighbourhood. She has fled a war-torn nation only to find herself caught in the illegal sex trade by corruption and a strong underworld mobster named Daddy. Eugene, on the other hand, sees Josephine as a sign of purity in the darkness; when he photographs her, there is something about her that captivates him, and she rapidly becomes his muse.
