C'est la vie!

Max is just a battle-weary veteran of the racket. His latest -- and past -- gig is a nightmare of a fête, including stuffy period outfits to the cooks, a thwarted, hyper- sensitive singer who believes he is a Gallic James Brown, and also a morose, micro-managing dress chose to produce Max's night as miserable as you can. However, what makes the affair too bitter to survive is that Joisette, Max's colleague and also ostensible girl friend, seems to have written him off, while flirting with a much younger 41, coolly going about her duties. It's likely to be a very long night... especially once the groom's airborne serenade gets penalized.
